AHA offers “Always Beginning, yet again”
Please join in for the opening reception to celebrate the continuation and renewal of the Sander’s family work, individually and collectively. The Sanders family exhibition “Always Beginning, Yet Again” will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the AHA! Fire Hall Gallery/Visitor’s Center at 108 N. George Street in Charles Town.
The Sanders family has been working, serving the community and creating together for decades and will be presenting a compilation of their history, art and projects, past and present in the AHA! September show. The show will include Bradley and Carol Sanders and their children, Tara Sanders Lowe, Roselyn Sanders Mendez, Miriam Sanders and George Sanders.
Whether it is a 9 foot marionette puppet, amazingly “Real Good Food”, or up cycled jewelry, a sensational event, portraits in oil or wrought iron furniture, the Sanders Family brings creativity and talent as individuals and in their projects together.
The Sanders Family will showcase a life’s work of history and service and will include highlights from their 30 years of museum exhibit fabrication, installation and management, as well as costumes, jewelry, food, paintings and photography. Come out for a visit, a show and a bite to eat with the Sanders Family and friends on Sept. 7.
The exhibit will run from Sept. 5-29 with hours Wednesday through Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
