Gantzer and Braswell united in marriage

Jodie Marie Gantzer and Paul McMillan Braswell were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m., on August 3, at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Fremont, Calif. with The Rev. Lauran Pifke officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Debra Gantzer of Wheeling. The groom is the son of Michael Braswell and Patricia McMillan of Hedgesville.

Melanie Miller, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor and James Braswell, brother of the groom, served as the best man. Other attendants were the groom’s sister, Sarah Braswell and Keith Miller, the bride’s brother in law. Elaine Yandrich served as the flower girl.

The wedding dinner was held at Pasta Moon in Half Moon Bay, Calif.

A celebration will be held in Moundsville, W.Va. in September.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School, a 2008 magna cum laude graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in human performance and health, and a 2009 graduate of West Virginia University with a Master of Occupational Therapy degree. She is employed as an occupational therapist with OPT Therapy Services in Wilmington, Del.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Hedgesville High School and a 2009 summa cum laude graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering. He works as a chemical engineer with DuPont in Wilmington, Del.

After a honeymoon trip to Calistoga, Calif, the couple resides in Wilmington, Del.
