Rotary inducts new member

The Rotary Club of Shepherdstown has inducted Terry Anderson as a new member.

The induction ceremony was held at the Club’s September 10 regular breakfast meeting at the Bavarian Inn.

Anderson is a Healthcare Recruiter for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, working out of the VA center in Martinsburg.

He and his family live in Shepherdstown’s Maddox Farm subdivision. Before coming to this area, he completed 26 years of active duty with the U.S. Navy, where he also specialized in medical professional recruitment.

While in the Navy, he was on multiple tours of duty in the Iran conflict and was assigned to the Marines for 12 of his active-duty years. He retired with a rank of Master Chief.

Anderson was born and raised in North Carolina. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Touro University International and a Masters in Public Health from Trident University International.

The Shepherdstown Rotary Club’s membership now totals 57.
