Mauck wedding

Aaron and Shantel Mauck were united in marriage on September 21, 2013 at Bethesda United Methodist Church of Knott Road, Shepherdstown. Their wedding was a fall country wedding. There were blue mason jars along the pews filled with flowers. Pastor Parker Hinzman performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Peggy Blankenship of Hedgesville. The groom is the son of Scott and Patricia Mauck of Harpers Ferry. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a mermaid style wedding gown.

Maid of honor was Samantha Tiffany of Bluemont, cousin of the bride who wore a horizon blue gown. Flower girl was Chalee Blankenship, sister of the bride, who wore a white dress and cowgirl boots and carried a basket filled with roses.

Best man was Brian Mauck of Millville, brother of the groom. Ring bearer was Tyler Mauck of Martinsburg, cousin of the groom.

There was special music sung by Donna Hall. Organist was Janet Hinzman. A reception was held at Cress Creek Country Club located in Shepherdstown. It was decorated with pumpkins and homemade log candle holders. The bride is a 2010 graduate of Washington High School and is expecting to graduate this December with a Computer Application Specialist Degree. She is employed by Jefferson Security Bank. The groom is a 2009 graduate of Jefferson High School who also attended James Rumsey Technical Institution. He is employed by Enviro-Tech Pest Services.

The bride and groom enjoyed a wonderful honeymoon on a cruise going to Grand Turks Turks and Caicos, Half Moon Cay Bahamas, and Freeport Bahamas. They now reside in Harpers Ferry.
