Rhonda Mahoney of Shepherdstown and John and Tinna Mahoney of Hagerstown, Md., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Kaitlyn Mary to Chad Wesley Carroll, son of Rick and Vivian Roth of Kearneysville and Alec and Betty Carroll of Harpers Ferry.

Kaitlyn is the granddaughter of Ronnie and Barbara Henderson and the late Charles and Agnes Mahoney.

She is a 2008 graduate of Jefferson High School and a 2013 graduate of Shepherd University.

Kaitlyn is currently employed as a fitness consultant with Golds Gym.

Chad is the grandson of Simonia Kelican and the late Charles Kelican and June Carroll and the late Alec Carroll Sr. Chad is a 2000 graduate of Jefferson High School and is currently employed with Carroll Contracting.

A September 2014 wedding is planned.
