Onoszko announces candidacy for County Commission

eter Onoszko has announced his candidacy for the Jefferson County Commissioner for the Kabletown District.
“Jefferson County is a wonderful place to live, steeped in history, with warm and welcoming neighbors,” said Onoszko, “Our vibrant cultural community and the hard working people of Jefferson County will, by working together, make the county the envy of the tri-state region.”
After graduating from the Citadel in South Carolina, Onoszko received his Masters from American University. Serving his Country for 25 years in the United States Army, Colonel Onoszko retired in 1995 from the Pentagon.
“The future of Jefferson County is dependent on economic development and fiscal discipline as well as our county education system,” continued Onoszko, “Our current commission has mismanaged all of these areas, including creating a $3.9 million dollar deficit. Common sense and a balanced approach will set us back on the right track.”
Peter and his wife, Dani, are active in the community, being members of the Harpers Ferry Historical Association and the American Legion.
“The people of Jefferson County deserve accountable representation, one that believes in their ability to manage their own lives, liberty and property. Working together we can insure a better life for each and every citizen of Jefferson County, and a better future for our children.”
