A free public forum on “How to include autistic children and adults in worship and other church activities” will be offered at the Shepherdstown Presbyterian Church, 100 W. Washington St., Saturday, Jan. 25, 9:30-11:30 a.m. The presentations will address the autism spectrum disorder. Presenters are Rev. Richard Work, Avery United Methodist Church, Morgantown, and dad of a son with Asperger’s, Chris and Julia Barney, church members at “The Bridge” in Ranson and parents of a son and daughter with autism, Peggy Hovatter, Positive Behavior Support Trainer, WV Autism Training Center and aunt of an adult nephew with autism.
