VFW Post 3522 in Charles Town will hold a VFW Honor Guard run at Summit Point Motorsports Park in Summit Point on Mar. 8 at 9:30 a.m. Run where the cars run (but not at the same time).

The race will start with a waving green flag and will finish with a waving checkered flag. It offers a unique venue to run. The entire race course is within Summit Point Motorsports Park. The majority of the race’s course is actually on the racetrack! Expect a mostly flat and fast course.

10K runners will experience most of the Summit Point, Jefferson, and Shenandoah circuits. 5k runners course includes portions of the Summit Point and Shenandoah circuits. 2.5K course for runners/walkers includes a large portion of the Summit Point circuit.

Attending this event is a great way to support veterans since proceeds go to support VFW Post 3522’s Honor Guard.
