League hosts ACA forum
The League of Women Voters of Jefferson County invites the public to an educational forum and community conversation on the Affordable Care Act, the online marketplace and the Medicaid expansion.
Panelists will discuss the following:
Eastern Panhandle ACA Enrollment Collaboration, defining the three county Eastern Panhandle collaborative efforts, Sara Koontz, Coordinator for ACA Enrollment, Shenandoah Valley Medical System
Impact of Medicaid Expansion in the Eastern Panhandle, Kathryn Bradley, Community Services manager, Berkeley, Morgan and Jefferson counties, Bureau for Children and Families (DHHR)
Potential Long Term Outcomes of ACA on U.S. Health Status, Courtney Struthers, M.D., Shenandoah Valley Medical System
Questions from the audience are welcome.
The meeting will take place in the meeting room of the Charles Town Library 200 East Washington Street, Charles Town on Monday, Mar. 3, from 7 to 9 p.m.
