Gardening workshop open to all
The Berkeley-Jefferson Extension Master Gardener Association will hold their annual Gardening 101 Workshop for beginning gardeners on Saturday, March 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kearneysville Tree Fruit Research and Educational Center, 67 Apple Harvest Lane, Kearneysville.
Master Gardeners with years of local gardening success will be sharing their knowledge and hands-on experience on diverse and important topics. Topics for this years class will be: The Basics of Setting Up a Garden; Successful Vegetable and Flower Gardening, and Gardening Tool Selection and Care.
The pre-registration deadline for the workshop is March 17.
We encourage participants to register early because the workshop is limited to 60 participants. The registration fee of $10 dollars covers materials and will be collected the day of the event. Unfortunately, we cannot accept credit cards for payment at the event, only cash or checks. Check-in on March 22 begins at 8:30 a.m.
