The Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County will have the annual spring Rabies Clinic on Saturday, Mar. 29 at the Tractor Supply in Charles Town from 1-3 p.m. Dr. Adrianne Doering, VMD will be vaccinating dogs and cats over 3 months of age. All dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in carriers. There will be a secure, enclosed area available to safely vaccinate cats. The vaccination cost is $10 for each pet. Bring prior shot records and owner identification for faster registration. If your pet has been previously vaccinated, is up to date on their Rabies vaccine and you bring documentation, the vaccine will be valid for three years. If this is the pet’s first Rabies vaccine or they are overdue, the vaccine will be valid for one year.
