The Potomac River Artist’s Guild will be having the first of two 2014 “Fine Art Show and Sales” on July 25, 26 and 27 at the Shepherdstown Community Center at the corner of German and King streets in Shepherdstown.

Made up of 20 local artists, the Guild will show all original wall paintings in various mediums including oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel and collage. Art styles shown will include realistic, impressionistic, abstract and fantasy. Several of the artists exhibiting will include local favorites like Joanna Athey, Donna Asbaugh, Sharon Nick and Diana Suttenfield.

A reception, free and open to the public, will take place on Saturday July 26 from noon to 3 pm at the Shepherdstown Community Center.
