5th annual Identity Crisis Red Carpet event

By Staff | Jul 24, 2014

Save the date for the 5th Annual Identity Crisis Red Carpet! The event will be held on Saturday, Aug. 9 in Shepherdstown. This is a fun filled evening of costumes, music and frivolity all to benefit the Breast Cancer Awareness organization of Cumberland Valley. The event will begin in Shepherdstown bars and restaurants downtown at 8 p.m., with a dance party from 9 to 11 at the Community Club (formerly Men’s Club) and continue throughout the evening at participating establishments. Expect to see red carpet, paparazzi, raffle tickets and more. This year the theme is: “MUSIC, a Trip in Time.”

There is no better way to support the community than by spending an evening enjoying local businesses while raising money for a local charity. The Breast Cancer Awareness organization of Cumberland Valley serves the four-state area with much needed support and services, all of which are free. Contribute to this organization by spending the evening in Shepherdstown on Saturday, Aug. 9. Participating businesses include The Mecklenburg Inn, Domestic, Yellow Brick Bank, Stonewalls and The Devonshire.

Those unable to attend but who would still like to contribute to the cause, donations can be made online at www.identitycrisiswv.com. For those already marking the calendar, tickets to the Club Crisis Dance Party can be purchased on the event website or simply frequent the participating Shepherdstown establishments the night of the event and a portion of the total evenings sales will go directly to the cause.
