The General Adam Stephen Chapter of the National Society Sons of the American Revolution held its summer dinner meeting on July 18, 2014 at the Purple Iris Restaurant in Martinsburg.

President Joe Khare hosted the evening meeting. The speaker was James Auxer, mayor of Shepherdstown. Two new compatriots were inducted into the Society. They were Thomas Fritz of Falling Waters and his father-in-law Rev. Thomas Smith of Hagerstown, Maryland. Both were presented their rosettes and certificates.
