Water for Life with the Rolling Coyotes

On Saturday, Aug. 16, the Barns of Rose Hill presents “Water for Life with The Rolling Coyotes” Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30. Barns of Rose Hill, 95 Chalmers Court, Berryville, Virginia.

Thirteen year old Evan Frank of Harpers Ferry wants to raise money to have 100 clean water wells drilled in South Africa. Steve Warner and The Rolling Coyotes want to help him with this mission by performing a concert in which 100 percent of their proceeds go to Evan’s cause.

The Rolling Coyotes have a penchant for unique, yet audience-pleasing materialfeaturing finely-tuned harmonies, textured instrumentation, good humor and originality. Their style is Americana acoustic-based music that touches on many genresfolk, country, string band, swing, jazz and rock. You might hear an 1850’s ballad and 1950’s rock n’ roll tune in the same set. They perform well-crafted originals and great songs from the likes of Ray Davies, Fats Waller, Gus Kahn and others.

Also on hand will be local magician, Ernie Benner, performing parlor magic for everyone. Ernie is also donating his talent to the cause.
