The Paul M. Saab Memorial Kiwanis Scholarship for 2014 was awarded to Rachel Adams, a recent graduate of Jefferson High School by the Kiwanis Club of Shepherdstown.

Rachel is the daughter of Charles (Chuck) and Renee’ Adams of Charles Town and plans to attend Shepherd University to study family and consumer sciences, working toward a career in fashion merchandizing. She was very active in the Key Club and marching band at JHS, as well as serving as the Key Club Lieutenant Governor for the Eastern Panhandle for the 2013-14 school year.

The Paul M. Saab Memorial Kiwanis Scholarship was established in 2001 to honor Paul Saab, a longtime professor of biology at Shepherd and a charter member of the Kiwanis Club of Shepherdstown.
