Seventeen members of the Panhandlers Square Dance Club of Martinsburg, attended the 43rd Annual WV Square Dance Convention in Buckhannon the first weekend in August. The theme of this year’s convention was Dancing Under the Stars at our Dance Prom. Consequently, many dancers dressed in their best prom finery for the Friday night dance. In addition to attending and representing our club, our co-presidents, Ron & Charlotte Sowers and members Porter and Mary Jo Smith were presented with certificates of appreciation recognizing “their dedication & contributions to square dancing”
