Relax and enjoy the best of summer at our Celebrate Summer Festival at Shepherd’s Spring, to be held Saturday, Aug.16, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. for all ages at Shepherd’s Spring Outdoor Ministry Center in Sharpsburg. Plan for pool time, family games, music, fresh garden treats and a great grilled lunch!

This event is the yearly open house all are invited to learn more about the programs offered including summer camping programs, Road Scholar programs, Heifer International Global Village programs and retreats for individuals and for schools, colleges, churches, businesses and civic organizations.

Lunch under the Big Top including summer chicken bbq, hot dogs, corn-on-the-cob, watermelon and ice cream from Nutter’s in Sharpsburg.

The pool will be open for swimming, and there will be animal visits, a chance to meet the alpacas, face painting, tomato tasting, a bake sale, tours of the Heifer Global Village and live entertainment throughout the day.
