The Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County will be having their annual fall Rabies Clinic on Saturday, Sept. 27 at the Gowers Feed in Ranson, from 10 a.m.12 p.m. Dr. Adrianne Doering, VMD will be vaccinating dogs and cats over three months of age. All dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in carriers.

There will be a secure, enclosed area available to safely vaccinate cats. The vaccination cost is $10 for each pet. Bring prior shot records and owner identification for faster registration. If a pet has been previously vaccinated, one must bring previous Rabies Certificate to receive a three year vaccination and certificate. If this is the pet’s first vaccine or they are overdue, the vaccine will be valid for one year.

Fill out the “owner” section of the registration form for each pet, print two copies per pet and bring to the clinic.
