The Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County will hold its 8th annual Paws and Claws Dinner and Auction on Oct. 25. The event will be held at the Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races Skyline Ballroom from 5:30-10 p.m. Come enjoy an evening consisting of a social hour, delicious buffet, silent and live auctions and a fun costume contest (costumes optional). All proceeds will go directly toward the general operating fund of the shelter. Tickets are $50 per person.
