Fine Art Show and Sale at War Memorial Building
The Potomac River Artists’ Guild is again sharing their art with the public at its Fall exhibit at the Shepherdstown Community Club (War Memorial Building), located at the corner of German and King streets in Shepherdstown. The display will be original wall paintings using many subject matters and techniques encompassing wildlife, still life, landscapes, impressionism, abstracts and so on. The art will be in several mediums like watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel and mixed.
The hours are Friday, Nov. 7, 11 a.m.-8 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend. The show is free and open to the public.
Art lovers are invited to meet the artists at a public reception on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 3 p.m. in the War Memorial Building.
The Potomac River Artists’ Guild is a diverse group consisting of nearly 20 members from the Eastern Panhandle region. The artists range from degreed to self-taught and the Guild includes award-winners and members of regional, state and national art organizations.
