The Shepherdstown Volunteer Fire Department will have its annual Apple Butter Festival on Saturday, Oct. 25 at the fire department. This activity is a major fundraising event for the organization.

There will be arts and crafts, bake sale items and homemade apple butter sales. No advance orders accepted for apple butter prior to Saturday. Also, there are no additional spaces available for vendors at this time for arts and crafts.

Breakfast buffet will be served from 6 to 11 a.m. Lunch service begins at 11:30 a.m. Other delicious foods will be available for sale all day. Homemade apple butter advance orders accepted all day on Saturday. Come watch apple butter being made and join in the fun by helping to stir kettles.
