By Staff | Oct 24, 2014

Shepherdstown’s Ed Zahniser and Patricia Donohoe will be present to sign their respective books, 3 Poems and The Printer’s Kiss, The Life and Letters of a Civil War Newspaperman and His Family, Saturday, Nov. 8, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at the Shepherdstown Presbyterian Fellowship Hall, 300 S. King St. Shepherdstown,. Each will speak briefly about their books at 10:30 a.m.

In The Printer’s Kiss, love, honor, and survival are all at stake for Will and Eliza Wylie Tomlinson, a passionate couple fighting their own personal battles as well as Confederates in West Virginia and Ohio. Told through letters discovered in a cracker tin and for sale on E-Bay, their story shows how an ordinary couple refused to let extraordinary times rob them of life’s most precious gifts.

3 Poems combines: At Betty’s Restaurant, Thomas Shepherd Loves Danske Dandridge and The Shepherdstown Sonnet, written to commemorate Shepherdstown’s 250th anniversary.
