Shepherdstown is ‘Crazy for Handmade’ in November
The Shepherdstown Community Club (SCC) is sponsoring four separate Handmade Market events this November! The first Weekend Handmade Market, the Earth Shine Market, the All Jewelry, Only Jewelry Market and the Ho Ho Ho-liday Handmade Market!
Join in for the First Weekend Handmade Market that will be open this Saturday, Nov. 1 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Come and shop the curated selection of unique and limited-edition handcrafted works from local independent artists, crafters and designers. Featured artists this weekend include: Studio Three 17 (fiber art, wearables and accessories), Center Ring Design (functional pottery, fine art), Happy Kat Glass (stained glass panels, ornaments), Susan Carney Art (fine art, monotypes), Toni Kay Dye (wildlife art, feather paintings), Michael Dye (handcarved wizard wands and figurines), Nature’s Inspirations (jewelry made with fair trade components), Creations by Tigerlily (aprons, car seat blankets, afghans, sewn items), MFJ Designs (polymer clay creations), Linda Slothower (scarves, felted handbags), Legend Mountain (folk art dolls, handpainted and sewn items), The Cottage of Herbs (herb mixes, vinegars, specialty foods and gift baskets) and Creative Art and Soul (pendants, dog leash holders, necklace/key holders).

Nov. 15 and 16– The Earth Shine Market features local holistic healers, tarot card readers, massage therapists, herbalists, handmade goodness and more! Open Saturday, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sunday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Nov. 22–The All Jewelry, Only Jewelry Handmade Market. Go crazy and do pre-holiday shopping for all types of jewelry made by local artists and designers. One day only! Open 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Nov. 28, 29 and 30–The Ho Ho Ho-liday Handmade Market (formerly the SCC Christmas Bazaar) kicks off on Black Friday for a 3-day weekend of shopping. Open Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. And that’s not all! The Ho Ho Ho-liday Handmade Market continues for three more consecutive weekends until Christmas (Dec. 6-7, 13-14, and 20-21).
All SCC Handmade Markets are located indoors at the War Memorial Building, 102 E. German St. in historic downtown Shepherdstown. Admission is always free. Funds raised from sellers’ booth fees go to the SCC to help maintain the historic War Memorial Building and Morgans Grove Park.
