“Busting the Stigma: A Forum on Mental Health” is scheduled for Saturday, March 14 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Shepherdstown Presbyterian Church. The forum is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided during registration between 9:30 and 10 a.m.

Sponsored by Shepherdstown Presbyterian Church and the League of Women Voters of Jefferson County, the forum will present speakers from around the Panhandle and elsewhere, including experts on mental health and addiction and individuals affected by them. The speakers will discuss the difficulties faced by those dealing with mental health issues and their families, what help is currently available locally, and some possibilities for the future.

Shepherdstown Presbyterian Church is located at the corner of Washington and King Streets across from the Post Office in Shepherdstown.
