Local mortgage professional, Peter S. Corum, has opened the Shepherdstown office of Core Mortgage Services, LLC. This is the first of three planned offices in the Eastern Panhandle.

The Shepherdstown office is located at 112 E. German Street. Corum is a 20-year banking veteran with strong community ties.

“In today’s turbulent financial times, Core Mortgage Services brings extensive industry experience,” said Corum on the state of the market. “We are committed to representing our customers – not the banks,” Corum continued.

Corum is no stranger to operating his own business or to the Shepherdstown community. He is Managing Member of Morgan’s Grove Market, an agricultural campus and healthy living collaborative in Shepherdstown.

The new loan production office is in business to make purchases, refinances, and rehabilitation mortgages. Its sales people work with real estate agents, homebuilders and financial advisors.

Core Mortgage Services also has access to a diversity of loan products that meet the homeowners’ individual needs, including U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and Conventional Loans and clients with special credit needs.
