Speak Series features Andy Frankel
The eighth Speak Story Series concert will feature Andy Fraenkel. A multicultural storyteller, author and presenter of the Vaisnava/Hindu tradition, Andy will share Ramayana, Mahabharata and Bhagavat Purana – the stories from ancient India following the age old art of Katha followed by a question and answer session.
Frankel is the recipient of a West Virginia Artist Fellowship Award and an Ohio River Border Initiative Grant. His award-winning book Mahabharata: The Eternal Quest, a rendition of India’s classic epic, has also been hailed by scholars (“Fresh, fast-paced, cinematic” also see www.Mahabharata-Project.com).
Speak will take place on Tuesday April 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the Community Club War Memorial Building. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased at Four Seasons Books, at www.speakwv.org , or reserved at 304-886-9481.
