St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Shepherdstown, is pleased to invite the public to a recital by locally-renown organist Dr. Wayne Wold, associate professor of Music and College Organist at Hood College, Frederick, Maryland. The event, admission-free, will take place at 3 p.m. on May 3, at St. Peter’s Church, King and High streets.

This recital is a celebration of the 250th Anniversary of St. Peter’s congregation, which was established in 1765. It also celebrates the tenth year of wonderful music from the church’s expanded and fully refurbished pipe organ.

Dr. Wold is an active composer, author, performer, speaker and clinician who has published over 150 compositions, articles, hymn texts, and books. He holds a Doctoral Degree from Shenandoah University and degrees from Concordia College and Wittenberg University.
