The May 1 First Friday Coffeehouse will feature The Moon and You, a uniquely pleasing duo from Asheville, North Carolina. The event is held at Trinity Orchard House on Route 45 between Shepherdstown and Martinsburg. Doors open for social time and open mic sign-up at 7 p.m. All open mic participants should be there early to get a slot to perform at one of the area`s premier listening rooms. Up to eight performers can show off their talents during the hour preceding the feature act.

Songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Ryan Furstenberg and Melissa Hyman play cello, guitar, banjo and drumsand sing up a well-crafted and extremely tasty musical stew. As the Moon and You, they tour almost nonstop throughout the eastern US. They are quickly building a loyal fan base the old-fashioned way.
