Every year, on the first Saturday in May, the comic book industry offers fans, both old and new, the unique opportunity to get FREE comic books from participating stores. Last years events set a new record internationally and this year Beyond Comics newest location in Shepherdstown, West Virginia will be participating. To make their first Free Comic Book Day more special, Beyond Comics is offering extra free comics with the donation of any non-perishable food items in support of a local food bank.

Beyond Comics in Shepherdstown has been open since December, and has two long-established locations in Gaithersburg and Frederick, Maryland. Beyond Comics is celebrating this event in style with artist appearances, costumed heroes, game demos, a huge sale and lots of free comics. Located at 207 South Princess St. in Shepherdstown, Beyond Comics is open every day of the week.
