The next session of the Cafe Society will continue the exploration of the challenges of democracy and focus specifically on “Voter Registration and its Manipulation”. The discussions will temporarily be moved to the Potomac Room of the Shepherd University Student Center while registration is In progress. The Cafe Society meets every Tuesday from 8:30 to 10 a.m.

Mike Austin, Cafe Society’s co-facilitator with Art Wineburg commented, “We are privileged to have Dr. James Bowen sharing his insights from a British perspective. It is turning the discussions into a study of comparative government which makes it extremely interesting and relevant in today’s increasingly globalized world. We have a great mix of very knowledgeable participants. It is very thought provoking.”
