Travelin’ Appalachians Reviue to visit Blue Moon
Come to the Blue Moon this Saturday, June 20, at 9 p.m. for a celebration of contemporary West Virginia literary and songwriting culture!
The Travelin’ Appalachians Revue is a new literary collective based in Morgantown and organized by two of the featured performers on the tour, Tyler Grady and Howard Parsons. According to Parsons, the Revue is “an opportunity to spotlight the current moment in West Virginia’s underground music scene and writing community, while celebrating West Virginian heritage and pride.”
“Tales of Tribulations & Turpitude” marks the first major event for the music and writing collective.
The tour commenced June 16 in Elkins West Virginia, has traveled through Lewisburg, Charleston, Morgantown, and will wrap up in Shepherdstown to celebrate the states birthday this weekend.
