Homeowner training offered

The Partnership for Affordable Housing (PAH) was launched in 2005 to address the urgent and unfulfilled need for affordable housing in Jefferson County, West Virginia and continues to work toward safe and affordable housing.

The PAH Homebuyer Assistance Program (HAP) provides eligible first-time homebuyers in Jefferson County with a deferred no-interest loan for down payment and closing costs. The loan is forgiven if the buyer remains in the home for the term of the loan.

PAH a;so sponsors a homebuyer education class on the third Saturday of every month. There will be a class July 18. Location is available by appointment. Classes for groups of four or more at other dates and times and in Spanish can be arranged by special request.

One-on-one credit counseling is also available by contacting the Partnership office.

The Partnership’s mission is to ensure access to safe and affordable housing through advocacy, education, and the development of housing resources.
