The Historic Landmarks Commission of Shepherdstown welcomes Jennifer Brennan, structural historian with the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) on July 13.

Brennan will speak to the commission and interested members of the public on various aspects of Historic Landmark Commissions. She will discuss the role of certified local governments, of which Shepherdstown is one, and how those CLGs assist the local community as far as historic preservation.

The Historic Landmarks Commission will hold their regular meeting from 6 to 7 p.m. July 13 at Town Hall and then move to the War Memorial Building for Brennan’s 7 p.m. presentation. All are encouraged to attend.
