Trinity Thrift Shop starts sale with new signage

By Staff | Aug 14, 2015

It’s back! The Trinity Thrift Shop, located at 104 S. Church Street, Shepherdstown, is having its clothing bag sale through the end of August – $5 for all the clothing that can fit in one bag. In addition, many other items are half price during the sale. The Shop is open Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

When visiting, please note that the sandwich board at the corner of Church and German streets, advertising the open Trinity Thrift Shop, has been replaced by a permanent sign pole-mounted in the corner of the church yard. This new sign for the Thrift Shop will have an “OPEN” sign attached below on Thursdays through Saturdays. The design, approved by the town, is in consonance with the other Trinity signs on the property.

The Trinity Thrift Shop enjoys a volunteer staff who sort donations and manage sales. Revenues are distributed to various local charitable organizations.

Local patronage and generous support serves Shepherdstown in many ways, and promotes a sense of community. Donations of clothing, jewelry and small household items may be left on the side screened-in porch of the Thrift Shop. Tax receipts are available during business hours.
