Rabies Clinic set for Sept. 26
The Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County will be having their annual fall Rabies Clinic on Saturday, Sept. 26 at Tractor Supply in Charles Town, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Dr. Adrianne Doering, VMD will be vaccinating dogs and cats over three months of age. All dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in carriers. There will be a secure, enclosed area available to safely vaccinate cats.
The vaccination cost is $10 for each pet. Bring prior shot records and owner identification for faster registration. If the pet has been previously vaccinated, owners must bring previous Rabies Certificate to receive a three-year Vaccination and Certificate.
If this is a pet’s first Rabies vaccine or they are overdue, the vaccine will be valid for one year. For faster registration- go to www.awsjc.org to the rabies clinic tab. Fill out the “owner” section of the registration form for each pet, print two copies per pet and bring to the clinic.
