By Staff | Oct 30, 2015

First Friday Coffeehouse will feature Todd Burge, one of West Virginia’s premier singer-songwriters, at Trinity Orchard House. Doors open for social time and sign-up at 7 p.m. The feature will be preceded by a one hour open mic where performers have an opportunity to show their stuff in one of the area`s premier listening rooms.

Employing wry humor, dexterous guitar work and drawing on a rich variety of life experiences, Todd Burge has emerged as one of West Virginia’s most prolific singer/songwriters. Burge has played everything from Alternative Rock to Bluegrass, performing concerts in venues as diverse as The Country Music Hall of Fame and the Kennedy Center. He is a repeat guest on National Public Radio’s Mountain Stage and has been called the “dean of WV songwriters, the best we have”, by the show’s host, Larry Groce.

His by-turns smart, serious and funny tunes and his confident stage presence are a master class in the art of the solo singer-songwriter craft,” according to the The Charleston Gazette. For more information, visit www.toddburge.com.
