An informal question and answer session will be held with artist Don Black, a local artist currently exhibiting along with Fran Skiles in “Abstractions 2015” at The Bridge Gallery. Black recently retired from a long-standing position in the Music Department at Shenandoah University; conducted the Conservatory Symphony Orchestra and spent several decades as a professional jazz clarinetist. Painting since 1986, he extended his creative pursuits into the field of fine art with great success.
