All jewelry show – It’s all about the bling
There will be an awesome one-day only All Jewelry, Only Jewelry Handmade Market this Saturday, Nov. 14 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. The public asked, and the Handmade Market delivered! The entire lower level of the War Memorial Building (102 E. German Street) will be dedicated to handmade necklaces, pendants, bracelets, anklets, rings, earrings ….basically filled with bling.
The featured local artists and designers are d’Pholk Designs Fused Glass, Happy Kat Stained Glass, Mimsy Designs, Nature’s Inspirations, Jeweled to the Nines, Sweet Clay Creations, Lynn Kemper and Creative Art and Soul.
Baubles and bangles and beads are only part of what visitors will find. There will be jewelry made from gemstones, etched stones, cabochons, crystals, geodes, druzy, crocheted wire, wrapped wire, hammered wire, silver wire, silver chain, vintage chain, copper chain, fair-trade beads, wood beads, round beads, long beads, vintage beads, metal beads, stone beads, lampwork beads, paper beads, beads, beads and more beads, bead weaving, formed metal, fused metal, mixed metal, hammered metal, fused glass, stained glass, dichroic glass, resin, mosaic tile, polymer clay, and a whole lot more. Unique jewelry makes a great holiday gift.
Admission is always free. Funds raised from sellers’ booth fees go to the Shepherdstown Community Club to help maintain the historic War Memorial Building and Morgan’s Grove Park for the community. The Handmade Market series is on track to raise over $10,000 for the SCC in 2015!
