By Staff | Nov 16, 2015

The Shepherd University Department of Contemporary Art and Theater and the Phaze 2 Gallery will exhibit the paintings of Philadelphia artist Read Lockhart through Dec. 11. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

Lockhart, whose grandfather was the late American wildlife painter James Lockhart, did a series of apprenticeships in Florence, Italy, and New York to study drawing and painting. He has a masters degree from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.
