Holiday marketplace to open
Looking for unique, handmade, one-of-a-kind items for gift giving and decorating this holiday season? The local artisans and crafters at the Shepherdstown Holiday Marketplace may have the perfect item for you.
Shepherdstowns Holiday Marketplace will officially open at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 27 and close at 8 p.m. following Santa’s arrival to town. They will be open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday between Thanksgiving and Christmas: Nov. 28 and 29 and Dec. 5 and 6; 12 and 13 and 19 and 20. Look for them in the historic Entler Hotel at the corner of German and Princess street.
Offerings will include fresh wreathes and greens; one-of-a-kind clothing and accessories for adults and children; pottery; buckeyes and other candies; birdhouses and feeders; painted gourds; jewelry; soaps and lotions; jams and jellies; as well as holiday cookies, breads, peanut brittle; clever signs and much more. Special orders and commissions will also be available.
