Shepherd’s Martinsburg Center sponsors open house, rapid registration
The Shepherd University Martinsburg Center, 261 Aikens Center, is hosting an open house, rapid registration, and American Red Cross blood drive on Thursday, Dec. 3, from noon-5:30 p.m.
Anyone interested in Shepherd’s Regents Bachelor of Arts program, which is designed for adults who already have work and family commitments, can take advantage of the rapid registration and leave with a class schedule that day. Class times are compressed, and online or evening classes are offered in variety of areas like social issues, health, or business. Those interested in rapid registration may bring an unofficial or official transcript, or even a grade report to see what credits may or may not transfer. There will be an opportunity to talk with a financial aid officer. Non-West Virginia residents may qualify for a grant of up to $1,200 for each three-credit course.
The American Red Cross bloodmobile will be at the center during the open house. To schedule a blood donation appointment, call 1-800-RED-CROSS or visit redcrossblood.org and enter Shepherd Martinsburg to schedule an appointment.
The open house will include tours of the facility and provide the opportunity for prospective students to meet faculty and staff. For more information and to register, visit www.martinsburgcenter.info or call 304-263-3303.
