The Friends of Music is sponsoring an “Oysters & Champagne Tasting” at Shepherdstown’s Bavarian Inn on Friday, Jan. 22. The event is a fundraiser for the Friends and its Two Rivers Chamber Orchestra.

It will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. It will feature champagne and oysters; heavy hors d’oeuvres that will include a smoked fish and caviar bar, other seafoods and meat and vegetarian choices; and desserts.

Classical guitar music will provide accompaniment

Tickets will be $170 per couple and $95 per person. Cocktail attire is requested. Tickets can be ordered online on the Friends website at www.friendswv.org.
