Shepherdstown Middle School held its first semester Attendance Awards Event held on Fri., Jan. 15. Students participating included those with perfect attendance for the month – those students got to chose a prize for every month with perfect attendance. Also recognized were those students with perfect attendance for the entire first semester – those students not only got to choose four prizes they also had their names entered into a drawing per grade level, for a $20 gift certificate to Domino’s Pizza. The winners of those are shown. In addition, the first period homeroom with the overall best attendance percentage for the semester had the students choosing a prize and each in the winning homeroom received a book bag. Overall SMS had 247 students out of 328 students participate.
