CATF’s sneak preview takes place March 11
The Contemporary American Theater Festival (CATF) at Shepherd University will hold a free public event to announce the 2016 season on Friday, March 11, between 7:30 and 9:30 p.m., at the Marinoff Theater.
Producing Director Ed Herendeen will introduce the five shows to be presented July 8-31. Guest actors will then perform scenes from each of the plays. The evening also features a very special appearance by OBIE-award winning playwright, Susan Miller who will read from her work.
Miller is the winner of two OBIEs and the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship in Playwriting. She is best known as the author/performer of the critically acclaimed one woman play, My Left Breast, and as Executive Producer and writer for the award winning web series, Anyone But Me. Miller has also received playwriting fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, a Rockefeller Grant and a residency at Yaddo.
The sneak preview is free and open to the press and public. No reservations are required.
