Audubon program to focus on solar energy

The Potomac Valley Audubon Society will sponsor an evening program in Berkeley Springs coming up on Wednesday, March 23.

The program, entitled “Understanding the Basics of Solar Energy,” will be held at 7 p.m. at the Morgan County Board of Education building at 247 Harrison Avenue.

Everyone is welcome to attend.

Admission will be free and there is no need to register in advance.

The speaker will be Colin Williams, vice president of Marketing and Sales, at Berkeley Springs’ Mountain View Solar.

Williams will explain in simple terms what solar power is, how its systems work and how they can be integrated into homes and businesses to reduce utilities costs.
