Audubon spring fundraiser set

The Potomac Valley Audubon Society will hold a “Welcome Spring” fundraising reception at the Train Station in Shepherdstown on Sunday, March 20 from 4-6 p.m.

Everyone is invited to attend. The proceeds will benefit the Society’s programs and activities.

A variety of bourbons, champagne cocktails and chocolates will be available for sampling, accompanied by sweets and savories. Wines and non-alcoholic beverages will also be provided.

There will also be a silent auction. Dress will be casual.

Basic tickets will be $45 per person. Those who pay $150 for two people will be recognized as Donors, those who pay $200 for two will be recognized as Patrons, and those who pay $250 or more for two will be recognized as Supporters.

Ticket costs will be tax deductible.

The Potomac Valley Audubon Society is a local nonprofit organization that offers a wide range of programs and activities aimed at promoting greater understanding and appreciation of the natural world among children, adults and families.

It serves the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia and Washington County, Maryland.

The Shepherdstown Train Station is located on the east edge of town, at 100 Audrey Egle Drive.
