AWS Flapjack Fundraiser at Applebees

By Staff | Mar 18, 2016

The Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County is participating in Applebee’s Flapjack fundraising program on Saturday, April 30. The flapjack program is replacing the Dining to Donate program, in which AWS has participated for many years. Enjoy a wonderful breakfast of pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs and drinks served by AWS board members and volunteers.

The breakfast runs from 8 to 10 a.m. with ticket prices at just $10. Purchase tickets at the Animal Welfare Society shelter on Leetown Pike, from AWS board members and volunteers or by calling Ann at 304-876-2161 or annctrumble@yahoo.com. Enjoy a morning of delicious food and help the shelter dogs and cats that are waiting for new homes. The Animal Welfare Society is a non-profit, no-kill shelter and United Way agency, located on Leetown Pike near the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. The Society has been helping the plight of homeless and neglected pets since 1952. To learn more about events and pets that are available for adoption go to www.awsjc.org or call 304-725-0589.
