Storied Evenings coming
Storied Evenings at the Shepherdstown Presbyterian Meeting House presents “Stories, Music and Art” on Wednesday evenings July 13, 20 and 27 at 7:30 p.m.
July 13 features Dow Benedict, sculptor and educator, and music by Camilo Perez-Mejia, cello and Andrea Diggs, flute. July 20 features Meredith Wait, cultivator of craft and community, and music by the piano trio of Dr. Scott Beard, Dr. Yu-Hsuan Liao and Ms. Susan Carpenter. July 27 features Mary Hendrix, President of Shepherd University and music by John Thomas, classical and jazz saxophone with pianist Teodora Adzharova.
Speakers will tell of people and events that influenced their lives. The artwork of several community artists will be exhibited in the Fellowship Hall during the month of July. The programs are free.
