Free child safety seat checks will be performed on July 22 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Wal-Mart parking lot in?Martinsburg.

Another safety seat check will be held Saturday, July 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Berkeley County Parks and Recreation Center’s Pregnancy, Baby and Child Expo.

The checks are scheduled to recognize the importance of keeping kids safe. The events are ponsored by the Governor Highway Safety Program.
